1986
Original black dial with tritium inlaid white gold markers & Mercedes hands. The dial is correctly signed “Swiss – T<25” referring to the tritium luminous on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
Explorer II reference 16550 in stainless steel. The 8.5 million serial number in-between the lugs corresponds with the original Rolex guarantee paperwork dating the watch to 1986. The watch features its original 24 hour fixed bezel, sapphire crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a Rolex Twinlock screw down crown. We have not polished the watch and so it has some light scratches from general use.
