Original champagne Sigma dial with black inlaid gold batons and English day. It is known as a Sigma dial due to the small Greek letters either side of the “T Swiss T” indicating the use of gold for the indices. These sigma dials were only produced during the early to mid 70s and have now become highly sought-after. Also referred to as “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.

Reference 1803 in 18k solid yellow gold with fluted bezel. The 4.2 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1976. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case is sharp having been professionally polished. The gold bezel has been sympathetically cleaned by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition.

This watch is fitted with a Watches of Knightsbridge genuine alligator dark blue leather strap and a gold plated Rolex pin buckle. Different leather straps can be ordered on request depending on preference.
