Find me one like thisOriginal silver dial with gold baton indices & hands. The first difference between the OysterQuartz dials is the lack of OysterQuartz text and instead has Oyster Perpetual referring to the automatic movement. The second more noticeable difference is the outer tracking is printed on a sloping inner bezel instead of the dial. The inner bezel is correctly signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
Reference 1630 “two tone” with stainless steel case and solid yellow gold fluted bezel. The 5.4 million serial number denotes the year of production to 1977/78. This rare reference preceded the OysterQuartz model and was shortly discontinued making them rare. The tonneau case shape with integrated bracelet is known best for use in the Oysterquartz model and hence collectors refer to this case shape and design as the OysterQuartz case. It features a sapphire crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and Rolex Oyster Twinlock gold screw down crown. In our opinion the case & bracelet remain unpolished with sharp edges. There are some light scratches to be expected.
Original two tone steel & 14k solid gold Rolex Jubilee bracelet. This bracelet has the unique reference 96673. Bracelets can be resized to fit on request.
