Find me one like thisOriginal silver crosshatched dial, known as a “linen” dial, is one of the most desirable dial variants.R eferred to as a “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. This extra detail is why these four digit Datejust references are much admired amongst collectors. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition with minimal signs of age.
Ref. 1600 in stainless steel with smooth bezel. This reference has a sportier look with the case being of similar proportions & design to the Explorer 1016. The 2.3 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production of 1970. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by us giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. There is a lot to love about this rare dial+case+bracelet combination which has 1019 Milgauss vibes. It features an original Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown.
