Submariner

Original matte black dial with luminous markers & Mercedes hands. This dial type is referred to as a Mk2 “White” dial being the second variant after the Single Red Submariners. The dial is signed “Swiss-T<25” referring to the original tritium luminous. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.

Submariner reference 1680 in stainless steel. The 5.3 million serial number in-between the lugs corresponds with original Rolex guarantee paperwork dating the watch to 1979. It features a “Top Hat” plexiglass crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date and Rolex triplock crown. It also features its original bezel insert which has nicely faded and shows some signs of age. The case and bracelet have been professionally polished during service.
