Find me one like thisOriginal matte white dial with baton indices is one of the rarer dial variants. Referred to as a “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. This extra detail is why these four digit Datejust references are much admired amongst collectors. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition with minimal signs of age.
Ref. 1601 with stainless steel case and solid white gold fluted bezel. The 3.4 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1973. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by us giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The white gold bezel has been sympathetically polished by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition. It features an original Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown.
