Original Mk1 matte black dial with tritium markers
Original black dial with tritium markers, orange 24 hour hand & straight seconds hand. This is a rare first series Explorer II which features the straight seconds hand and Mk1 dial type. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the tritium used on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
Steel case with original 24 hour fixed bezel
The Explorer II reference 1655 in stainless steel. The 3.5 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1974 and features its original 24 hour bezel. This reference also features a plexiglass with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a Rolex Twinlock screw down crown. The case has been professionally polished giving the watch a stunning aesthetic.
