Original Charcoal Black sigma dial with gold baton indices
Original charcoal black sigma dial with gold batons & hands. Known as a sigma dial due to the small Greek letters either side of the “T Swiss T” indicating the use of gold for the indices. These sigma dials were produced for a short period during the early to mid 70s and have now become highly sought-after. The dial is marked “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition.
stainless steel case with smooth bezel
Ref. 1500 in stainless steel with smooth bezel. The 3.9 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production of 1975. This reference also indicates that the case is fitted with a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by our watchmaker giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The crown is an original Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown.
