Find me one like thisOriginal Lapis Lazuli stone dial with original non-luminous gold hands. Rolex stone dials are arguable the most sought-after Rolex watches by collectors at the moment. These beautiful blue Lapis dials are one of the rarest and most desirable. The dial is correctly signed “T Swiss T” (albeit with not luminous on the dial or hands) and are the first batch of stone dials produced by Rolex in 1975/76. The dial has not been touched and remains in perfect original condition with no cracks or damage.
Reference 1601 in 18k solid yellow gold with fluted bezel. The 4.0 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production to circa 1975 and is the correct range for these early stone dials. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case has been professionally polished by Rolex during its recent service and retains the protective case stickers.
