Find me one like thisOriginal silver dial with baton indices is the most classic dial combination. These early Mk1 dials feature the Oysterquartz text in a lower position (normally where the SCOC text is printed). The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the tritium luminous on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
The reference 17000 in stainless steel with smooth bezel. The 5.2 million serial number denotes the year of production to 1977/1978 and is the first version of the Oysterquartz model that spanned over 2 decades. This reference features a sapphire crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and Rolex Oyster Twinlock crown. The case & bracelet are sharp having been professionally polished by our polisher.
