Rare original matte black Explorer dial and “Mercedes” hands. The dial is signed “Swiss – T<25” referring to the original tritium luminous on the dial which has a nice patina and matching with the hands. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.

This Explorer Precision reference 5500 in stainless steel shares the same reference as Air-King. The 2.7 million serial number in-between the lugs corresponds with the original guarantee paperwork dated 1973. This watch features a plexiglass crystal and a Rolex Twinlock screw down crown. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by our watchmaker giving the watch a stunning aesthetic.

Original Rolex Oyster “folded” link bracelet, reference 7835 19 with 357 end links and clasp dated 2/72 (2nd quarter of 1972). Bracelets can be resized to fit on request.
