Blue sunburst dial with Roman numerals
Original blue sunburst dial with white gold Roman numerals and matching non-lume hands. These blue dials are one of the most desirable dial variants for the Datejust model. The dial is correctly signed “Swiss Made” instead of T Swiss Made T” referring to the lack of luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
stainless steel case with milled bezel
The reference 16220 in stainless steel with milled bezel. The X serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production of 1991 (sold in 1993). It features a sapphire crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by us giving the watch a stunning aesthetic.
