Find me one like thisOriginal champagne crosshatched dial, known as a ‘linen’ dial. The day aperture features an Italian day display. Also referred to as “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. This detail is why the four digit Day Date references are much admired amongst collectors. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition.
The reference 1803 in 18k solid yellow gold with fluted bezel. The 2.0 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production to 1969. It features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and an original gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case has been professionally polished by our watchmakers giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The yellow gold bezel has been sympathetically polished by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition.
This watch is fitted with a green Watches of Knightsbridge genuine alligator strap and a gold plated Rolex pin buckle. Smaller leather straps can be ordered on request.
