Find me one like thisOriginal grey sigma dial with wide baton indices & matching hands. These dials have become known as “wide boy” dials and are one of the most collected dial variants. It is also known as a sigma dial due to the small Greek letters either side of the “T Swiss T” indicating the use of gold for the indices. These sigma dials were produced for a short period during the early to mid 70s and have now become highly sought-after. Also referred to as “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. This detail is why these four digit references are much admired amongst collectors. The dial is marked “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition.
Ref. 1803 in 18k solid yellow gold with fluted bezel. The 3.9 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production to 1975. This reference also indicates that the case is fitted with a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case has been professionally polished by our watchmakers giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The yellow gold bezel has been sympathetically polished by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition. The crown is an original gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown.
Original 18k solid yellow gold President bracelet. Bracelets can be resized on request.
