Original “Boiler Gauge” dial with Arabic numerals. These unusual dials had a short production run during the 1980s and have become sought-after by collectors. The white lacquer paint of these dials had a tendency to age forming a desirable cream colour (similar to the Explorer II 16550 cream dials). The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.

The two tone reference 16013 with stainless steel case and solid yellow gold fluted bezel. The 9.5 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1987. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and gold Twinlock crown. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The yellow gold bezel has been cleaned by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition.
