Original grey dial with yellow gold batons & hands. This dial combination is fairly uncommon and contrasts beautifully with the steel case & bracelet. Referred to as a “Pie Pan” dial due to the sloping edge which featured on these four digit references. The dial is correctly signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
The reference 1603 in stainless steel with milled bezel. The 5.1 million serial number in-between the lugs corresponds with the original guarantee paperwork dating the watch to 1977. It features a plexiglass crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished during service.
