ORIGINAL BLUE SHANTUNG / MOSAIC DIAL
Original blue Shantung / Mosaic dial with gold batons & hands. This is a rare dial type produced in the early 1970s which has now become sought after by collectors. The dial is correctly signed “T Swiss T” referring to the tritium luminous. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition.
Joyeria Ricciardi Stamped Case
The reference 1601/3 in stainless steel with yellow gold fluted bezel. The 3.0 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1972. This watch features the Argentinian retailer’s Joyeria Ricciardi stock number on back of the lug, in a similar way to how Cartier used to number their watches. The case & bracelet are in excellent condition having been professionally polished.
