Oysterdate

Original silver dial with the signature of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait. This very rare watch would have been commissioned by the Sheikh’s office and presented to an individual of great importance to the country as a sign of gratitude. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous. The dial has not been touched and remains in excellent original condition with some very small signs of age.

The reference 6694 in stainless steel with smooth bezel. The 1.4 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1966 which is correct for these Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah commissioned watches. It features a plexiglass crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date and a Rolex Twinlock screw down crown. The case and bracelet are in excellent condition having been professionally polished during service.

Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 78350 19 with 557 end links is from a slightly later period to the watch. Bracelets can be resized to fit on request.
