Find me one like thisOriginal black gilt dial that has naturally turned “Tropical” and brown in colour. These “Tropical” dials are all unique in the way they age which makes them sought after by collectors. This particular example has an even brown colour/patina which is rare. The hands are possible tritium replacements. The dial is correctly signed “Swiss” for this year of production (1964). The dial remains in very good condition showing some small signs age.
Reference 1500 in stainless steel with smooth bezel. The 1.0 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production to 1964. The movement number matches with the original Chronometer Certificate. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case and bracelet are in excellent condition having been professionally polished during service.
Original Rolex Oyster stretchy rivet bracelet. The clasp is date 4/63 (fourth quarter of 1963) and has no. 57 end links. Bracelets can be resized to fit on request.
