Original “Tiffany” blue Stella dial with diamond set indices. Stella dials were made using a heavy lacquered paint often in bright or pastel colour-ways, and produced in far fewer numbers than the other dial types making them rare. These dials are highly sought-after by collectors, especially those in perfect original condition with no damage such as this example. The dial is correctly signed “T Swiss T” referring to the tritium luminous.

The reference 6917/8 in 18k solid yellow gold with fluted bezel. The 7.4 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes the year of production to 1983. This reference features a plexiglass crystal with “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown. The case and bracelet are in excellent condition having been professionally polished during service. The gold bezel has been sympathetically cleaned by hand so that it retains the original fluted edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition.
