Original matte black dial with gold batons & hands. These matte black dials are amongst the most sought-after dial variant of the Datejust model. They are referred to as “pie pan” dials due to the sloping edge of the dial. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition with very small signs of age.

The reference 1603 in stainless steel with milled bezel. The 4.0 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production of 1975. It features a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display and a Rolex Twinlock screw down crown. The case & bracelet have been professionally polished by our watchmaker giving the watch a stunning aesthetic.
