Find me one like thisOriginal champagne mosaic dial, also referred to as shantung dial or brick dial. These dials have a special finish, made in relatively low numbers that have now become sought-after by collectors. The dial is signed “T Swiss T” referring to the original tritium luminous used on the dial. The dial has not been touched by us and remains in excellent original condition.
Ref. 1501 in 14k solid yellow gold with milled bezel. The 2.9 million serial number in-between the lugs denotes to the year of production of 1972. This reference also indicates that the case is fitted with a plexiglass crystal with a “Cyclops” magnifying the date display. The case has been professionally polished by us giving the watch a stunning aesthetic. The sold gold bezel has been sympathetically polished by hand so that it retains the original edges. This is one of the reasons why our watches are presented in the highest quality in terms of condition. The crown is an original gold Rolex Oyster Twinlock screw down crown.
This watch is fitted with a quality Watches of Knightsbridge genuine alligator strap in green, with gold plated Rolex pin buckle. Smaller leather straps can be ordered on request.
